Ann-Kristin joined Saab in 1986 and is presently Senior Vice President and member of the Group Management of Saab AB. Ann-Kristin holds a Master of Finance from the International Business & Economics Program at Linköping University, Sweden. She has worked 30 years for Saab in different assignments across the group. Ann-Kristin joined the Commercial Aircraft side in Linköping 1986, working with controlling and finance for the Saab 340 and Saab 2000 programs. She was later chief accountant for several areas within the Saab group. She worked for the Joint Venture between Saab and BAE Systems with development and marketing of the JAS 39 export version which led to a continued career as head of finance, procurement and commercial for the Gripen program at Saab. Ann-Kristin has extensive experience of working with Saab’s customers, partners and suppliers, national as well as international. She has led several major negotiations with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration ( FMV), not least in sales regarding Gripen and also in her position as CEO and Chairman of Industrigruppen JAS (the JAS industrial consortium). Ann-Kristin headed the project of establishing underwater capability within Saab, which resulted in the acquisition of TKMS AB, in 2014, today Saab Kockums AB. She was Managing Director for Saab Kockums AB until she joined the Saab Management Team in September 2015 as Head of Group Strategy. She lives in Linköping, is married to Per Savén and has a daughter. Her spare time is spent with her family and small comforts of life such as food, travelling and good films.
