Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f)
You will:
• Define new mechanical product architecture, analyze performance and perform feasibility studies.
• Work in cross-functional teams with Industrial Design and Electrical Engineering.
• Lead and execute the mechanical system, subsystem and part design of medical products from requirement specification up to transfer to manufacturing including fabrication, testing, verification and validation of engineering prototypes.
• Support the creation of design requirement documents.
• You work with other mechanical engineers in the design and development of miniaturized electro mechanical systems.
• Work within the project team adopting time and cost effective solutions.
• Provide high quality technical reports supported by simulations and/or lab tests.
• Investigate new technologies and trends with close relationship with vendors.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Be the interface with customers as mechanical engineering reference on projects.

Znanja i kvalifikacije:

• Availability to relocate to Timisoara, Romania
• Mechanical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering degree or equivalent and minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering design in product development.
• Good knowledge of mechanism design, mechanical and/or electro mechanical, part design in high volume manufacturing technologies like plastics injection molding and sheet metal stamping, DFx, manufacturing, assembly, test, reliability and cost, tolerance and other types of worst-case analysis, 3D CAD modeling.
• Experience with PTC Pro/ENGINEER Creo Parametric or Catia V5 and specific knowledge in personal healthcare appliances is a plus.
• You should have knowledge of failure and root cause analysis, FMEA, GD&T, knowledge of FEA using Pro/MECHANICA, ABAQUS or ANSYS would be considered a plus a plus.
• As soft skills you should have: good communication skills, good attitude in facing end customers worldwide, high level of commitment to the success of a project;
• Ability to lead project feasibility tasks, where product specifications are not defined yet and are subject to changes.
• Languages: English – business fluent.
