Gourmet Sales Development Manager (m/f)

For our renowned client - Barry Callebaut Group, the world's leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products., we are looking for a candidate on the position:
Gourmet Sales Development Manager (m/f)
Location of work: based in Croatia (Zagreb), assigned working territory Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Key accountabilities include:
- Pursue sales leads
- Visit existing and new customers
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services, respond to customer enquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets
- Identify, research, contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business
- Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands vEstablish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met
- Develop Chef to Chef relationships and engage in Chef Associations to build brand awareness and usage opportunities
- Leverage Salesforce to track customer activities and manage opportunity pipelines
- Visit existing and new customers
About you:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics or similar vocational education
- 2+ years of relevant working experience in food industry
- Knowledge of Chocolate/Gourmet industry a plus
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Fluent in local language
- English – Intermediate level is minimum
- 2+ years of relevant working experience in food industry
