GLAVNI KNJIGOVOĐA (CHIEF ACCOUNTING)

Role Summary
A high calibre Management Accountant who will act also as local Finance lead within the business. This role offers a range of career options, involving exposure to the department heads, local company management, central finance and commercial & operational staff across the business.

Responsibilities
• Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and analytic packs for Cartesis, Intercompany, CAPEX, and other central reporting systems
• Business partner with department heads to drive and measure departmental performance
• Participate in the budgeting and planning process within the company
• Promote financial understanding, controls and diligence through interaction with non-finance staff on issues such as cash management, costs, asset controls.
• Own company Fixed asset register ensuring company assets are accurately recorded, depreciated and physically controlled, and provide Fixed assets report to Management and auditors
• Provide costs control, detect and initiate cost-saving
• Provide cash management and relationships with the Banks; controlling of cash flow including 3rd party payments, ICO financials, trade Accounts receivable, agency overheads and employees compensation, petty cash payments according to internal procedures and legislation requirements
• Control of statutory tax audit and reporting: preparation, submission and storage of local tax declarations and local financial statements
• Collating financial information, maintaining spreadsheets and posting journals
• Reconciliation of various general ledger accounts, Bank reconciliations, Balance sheet reviews
• Prepare VAT declarations and returns
• Payroll processing, payroll reports submission
• Preparing monthly prepayments and accruals
• Assist in managing internal financial control environment: SOX, internal WPP audit, self-assessment
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and financial policies of the Group; coordination, preparation and arrangement of yearly full-scope external audit
• Proposing improvements to internal financial processes and controls; implementation of procedures and policies
• Support Company management with accounting/financial expertise cooperating with external advisors where necessary
• Prepare ad-hoc accounting/financial reports for senior management/Group consolidations
• Participate in the formulation of financial strategies, objectives and business plans
• Ensure smooth running of all activities in finance/accounting department, and provide full overview of company accounting and financial transactions

• Strong computer skills, particularly advanced skills in using various accounting and reporting systems, and advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor Degree with 7 years PQE
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of local tax and accounting regulations
• Solid background in IFRS & IAS
• Qualified Accountant certification desirable
• Agency accounting experience desirable
* Salary details and other benefits will be discussed personally at an interview (cca. from 14,000 kn net plus other benefits which include mobile phone, laptop, parking space, a possibility of company car, bonus, higher salary after some period. A probation period for candidate is 3 months within the first contract for 1 year which after that time will be prolonged for an unlimited period)
