Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter, "clean" and review data and identify performance indicators
- Compile summary and statistical views of the data for presentation
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Documentation development
- Troubleshoot problems with daily data-feeds within programs and reports
- Work hard and responsible on projects and meet project milestones
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Knowledge of predictive and prescriptive analytics, data mining and machine learning
- Good knowledge of statistical languages like R or Python
- Proficient knowledge of T-SQL language
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with some of the big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Kafka, Storm
- Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- High proficiency in English
Advantages (not conditions) for selection of the candidates are:
- Experience in work with analytics services in Azure (Azure HDInsight, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Machine Learning)
- Expertise certifications from various organizations like Microsoft
- Experience in work with Azure DevOps Services or TFS
