Civil Engineer Cost Estimator (m/f)

Tasks

Analysing tender documentation applicable to civil engineering works
Preparing tender bill of quantities for civil engineering works
Check and control tender structural and other drawings, with inputs for optimization or corrections
Preparing complete tender cost estimation for civil engineering works, including price analyses
Assisting to controlling in preparation of the first work calculation for each awarded project
Being up to date with construction materials, products and specialized companies on the market
Submitting inquiries and collecting relevant offers for tendered works
Analysis of submitted bids and tender results
Close collaboration with commercial & supporting units

Requirements

University Degree in field of civil engineering
extensive work experience (> 5 years)
detailed cost estimation experience
quality and cost awareness
knowledge of local market, including typical unit prices for major works
knowledge of water retaining structures design principles
basic knowledge of FIDIC or other turn-key contracts type
fluent in English (spoken and written)
Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian language(s)
IT skills like MS Excel, iTWO (Arriba), MS Project
proactive, motivated, teamwork skills, independent, dedicated and accurate way of working
social and intercultural skills
