Responsibilities:
• Meets or exceeds all safety, environmental, and health goals for department.
• Meets or exceeds quality goals for production orders.
• Meets or exceeds production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity
• Load raw material into machine and unload finished product
• Follow standard operating procedures and specifications or instructions of higher-level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Controls cooling conditions of casting unit.
• Monitor operation for proper casting and/or curing, checking for material defect, make equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain part quality standards and notify Quality Assurance department of questionable material.
• Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.

Requirements:
• Experience working in a metallurgy Environment
• Must have strong service and quality focus; address issues effectively when problems arise and take initiative to understand root cause, then communicate / educate team in a timely manner
• Ability to use basic mathematics, common fractions and decimals
• English speaking is mandatory
• German speaking is considered as an advantage
• Organized
• Team player/interact well with others
