Sub-Contracts Manager
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Job purpose:
Ensures management and administration of subcontracts and formalizes s ubcontracting documents from tender to closeout.
Reporting lines and interactions:
- Hierarchically reports to: Head Office Subcontracting / Construction Department Manager.
- Directly supervises (operationally): Quantity Surveyors, subcontract engineers

Externally: Subcontractors, Clients /PMC, JV partners.
Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):
Profile:
Must have:
- Technical diploma with minimum 15 years experience in subcontracting activities.
Or at least:
- University engineering degree with job site experience
- Offshore experience required
Main accountabilities:
- Participates in the subcontract development process.
- Ensures sourcing and qualification of bidders.
- Performs preparation, assembly and issuance of Call for tenders, addendums, and tender clarifications.
- Performs negotiation, formation and award of formal subcontracts.
- Ensures field administration of subcontracts (including change order and back-charges management) as per procedures and subcontract closeout.
- Prepares feedback and statistic (cost, man hours, productivity, quantities, reworks rates, …)
- Reports/records as per corporate guidelines.
