Resort Commercial Director (m/f)
Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala, Croatia

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy of Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala in line with Group standards, brand positioning and long-term business objectives
Take overall responsibility for commercial decision-making, revenue growth, profitability and market positioning across the resort
Work closely with the Resort General Manager, Group Director of Sales and Group Director of Marketing to align commercial strategies and business priorities
Strengthen Punta Skala's positioning as a leading luxury lifestyle resort in the Adriatic region and identify new business opportunities
Define and oversee revenue management, pricing, forecasting, budgeting, sales and distribution strategies across all resort properties
Optimise revenue and profitability across accommodation, F&B, MICE, wellness, sports and other resort services
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, including RevPAR, ADR, market share, channel mix and contribution margins, and implement measures to improve performance
Develop sales and market segmentation strategies across international leisure, luxury travel, MICE, corporate and strategic business segments
Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, DMCs, MICE agencies, luxury travel networks and key business accounts
Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional activities and commercial initiatives, focusing on performance, measurable results and return on investment
Drive direct booking growth, optimise digital distribution channels and develop guest loyalty, CRM and upselling strategies
Foster cross-functional collaboration between Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, Distribution and Operations, ensuring alignment with the resort's commercial objectives

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

University degree in Hospitality Management, Economics, Marketing or a related field
Minimum 8 years of senior commercial leadership experience in luxury hospitality
Proven track record in 5-star hotels, premium resorts or luxury lifestyle destinations
Strong international market exposure and a solid understanding of different source markets and travel segments
Experience within an international, brand-driven hotel group is highly desirable
Excellent commercial acumen and in-depth knowledge of revenue management, pricing strategies, distribution and luxury hospitality market dynamics
Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach and strong business discipline
Confident and decisive leadership style with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive change and deliver results
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills
Strong analytical skills, financial understanding and a data-driven, performance-oriented approach
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities and make effective business decisions
Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German and/or Croatian is an advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in an international and multicultural environment
