To support this exciting market entry, we are seeking a Payroll Support Administrator, a detail-oriented and proactive team member who will provide comprehensive payroll and administrative support within the HR Shared Services department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth daily operations.
As a Payroll Support Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all personnel and payroll-related changes, ensuring full compliance with company policies and local labor laws. You will play an important role in supporting employees, managers, and cross-functional teams, contributing to efficient and high-quality HR service delivery.
- Process and verify personnel and payroll changes (new hires, terminations, promotions, salary adjustments).
- Support payroll preparation and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and statutory documentation (taxes, health insurance, pension contributions, sick leave certificates).
- Prepare and submit employer reports and coordinate with local authorities and external institutions (e.g., HZMO, HZZO, tax authorities).
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR Administrators and recruiters regarding country-specific HR or payroll issues.
- Maintain data accuracy in HR systems (SAP ECP, SuccessFactors) and support system testing, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Assist internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Identify and propose improvements in payroll and HR administrative processes.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork, service orientation, and continuous improvement.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll or HR administration, ideally in an international context.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in HR, Business Administration, or a related field).
- Sound understanding of Croatian labor law and payroll regulations.
- Familiarity with SAP ECP and/or SuccessFactors (or similar HRIS).
- Excellent English language skills.
- Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
- Discreet, professional communication style and strong interpersonal skills.
- Service-minded, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
