Head Therapist / Assistant Spa Manager (m/f)
The Head Therapist / Assistant Spa Manager plays a dual role of leading the therapist team while supporting the Spa Manager in daily operations. This position ensures the highest standards of guest service, treatment quality, and spa operations, while fostering a culture of wellness, professionalism, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support
- Assist the Spa Manager with daily operations, scheduling, and overall spa coordination.
- Act as the Spa Manager’s deputy in their absence, ensuring smooth running of all spa areas.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management for treatment rooms and spa areas.
- Support with administrative tasks such as staff rosters, payroll inputs, and reporting.
- Deliver exceptional treatments and therapies according to brand standards.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring feedback and resolving concerns promptly.
- Promote spa services, packages, and retail products to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Supervise, train, and motivate therapists to maintain excellence in treatment delivery and customer service.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Organize internal training sessions and skill refreshers in collaboration with the Spa Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across all spa facilities.
- Ensure therapists comply with standard operating procedures, treatment protocols, and brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and suggest innovative treatments or wellness initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certified therapist qualification (massage, bodywork, beauty, or holistic therapy).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a luxury spa or wellness environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for wellness and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in spa booking systems and MS Office is an advantage.
