Animation Manager (m/f)
Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora, the flagship family hotel within the Falkensteiner portfolio, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Animation Manager to lead and further develop our comprehensive family entertainment concept.
As a leading family destination, Diadora places strong emphasis on high-quality animation programs, including kids’ play areas, supervised childcare (čuvaonica), themed academies, sports and creative workshops, and daily entertainment experiences for children, teenagers, and families.
The Animation Manager is responsible for the strategic development, operational management, and continuous innovation of the entire animation and family program, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and brand alignment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic & Concept Development
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the hotel’s animation and entertainment strategy in alignment with Falkensteiner brand standards.
- Position Diadora as the flagship family animation hotel within the group through innovative, high-quality programming.
- Design seasonal, weekly, and daily activity schedules for children, teens, and families.
- Develop and expand themed academies (sports, creative, educational, adventure-based programs).
- Introduce new trends and concepts in family hospitality and experiential entertainment.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the daily operations of:
- Kids’ playrooms and indoor/outdoor play areas
- Supervised childcare services
- Teen programs
- Family entertainment activities
- Themed academies and workshops
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with all child protection standards.
- Coordinate animation programs with other hotel departments (Front Office, F&B, Marketing, Sales, HR).
- Coordinate evening programs and weekly shows
- Oversee the daily operations of:
- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage the animation team.
- Create duty schedules and manage staff planning.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and professional team culture.
- Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and personalized family experiences.
- Actively interact with guests and children, maintaining a visible presence.
- Handle guest feedback and continuously improve service quality.
- Monitor KPIs related to participation, guest satisfaction, and program performance.
- Budget & Administration
- Prepare and manage the annual animation budget.
- Control costs while maintaining premium quality standards.
- Manage external partners and suppliers for special programs and academies.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel animation, family entertainment, or leisure management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Creativity and passion for working with families and children.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a strong advantage).
- Ability to work in a dynamic, international, and guest-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of safety and childcare standards is an advantage.
