Project description:
Our client is a global supplier of embedded software products, development tools and services for the automotive industry. He is a leader and premium member involved in development of open and standardized AUTOSAR (Automotive Software Architecture) framework.

You will be responsible for:
• Debugging SW components and overall solutions both on target and simulated environment
• Find and report defects, verify defect fixes focusing on the steps to reproduce and root cause analysis – coding expected
• Verifying the test cases matching the specifications and requirements
• Develop, debug and maintain automated test based on manual test cases or from scratch
• Creating local and remote test setups using specialized testing equipment for embedded hardware and automotive
• Documentation work according to internal process and methodology
• Preparation for peer reviews for conformance
• Contribution to detailed SW component design and improvement / correction

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Requirements:
• University education in fields of Electrical Engineering, IT, or related fields
• 5 years of experience in programming & testing, using C, C++, Java, scripting, make
• Knowledge of versioning and revision control systems (e.g. SVN, Git, Synergy, MKS)
• General Testing knowledge (test methodologies, specification, execution, reporting)
• Experience in code integration/test role
• Experience in working with configuration management and collaboration tools, JIRA, Confluence, CI tooling (e.g. Jenkins)
• Embedded system development experience
• Fluent English written and spoken, German is a plus
• Willingness to travel for short business trips
Desirable but not mandatory skills:
• Knowledge of Autosar, HSM and Hypervisor
• Experience with real-time OS
• Experience with Linux OS
• Experience in hardware debugging
• Experience in static code analysis and coding rules (i.e. MISRA)
• Experience in communication network/protocols CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, MOST
• Knowledge of HW architectures and design
• Experience in using UML
