Site Engineer (m/f) – Ireland
AA Euro Croatia is a member of AA Euro Group Ltd. We are a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating globally. We recruit for jobs in Ireland and Europe across the Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Security, Finance & HR.
We have been retained by a number of Ireland’s largest construction companies to recruit Site Engineers for projects based across different locations in Ireland. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience working with a main contractor. Building / Concrete Frame experience will be favourable.
The Role:
- Responsibility for setting out and levelling the site.
- Responsibility for the overall surveying of the site.
- Planning work efficiently ensuring strict deadlines are met.
- Overseeing quality control and safety measures on site.
- Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and dealing with any problems which arise.
- Supervising and monitoring the site labour force along with liaising with subcontractors.
- You will be working with a market leading Construction Company and expected to maintain their high standards.
- You will be afforded the opportunity to grow your career with a leading company, and concurrently work a number of sites for them.
Requirements:
- BEng/MEng in Engineering
- Over 1 year experience working in the industry
- Experience working on large scale construction projects (Office Developments, Shopping Centre Developments, High Rise Apartment Buildings, Hotel projects and Data Center projects)
- Strong technical ability and management skill
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent in verbal and written English
- Croatian or any other EU citizenship is mandatory
