Duties include (but are not limited to):
1. The person in this position is responsible for implementing the on-board revenue requirements. This person independently manages the AIDA Shop and oversees the Shop Supervisor and Shop Assistants
2. Planning, coordinating, and performing all retail-related activities in coordination with the respective areas on board and based on AIDA Shop standards
3. Actively selling and providing customer service with persuasiveness, friendliness, and with the clear objective of making successful sales
4. Managing and coordinating shop employees and making sure that employees are providing quality service (providing competent advice, actively approaching customers, repeatedly providing advice, upselling)
5. Training and motivating employees
6. Creating staffing schedules for each voyage
7. Ensuring the shop is optimally stocked in terms of quality and quantity (inventory and order management, goods receipt, WWS administration on board)
8. Ensuring orderly check-out process and proper stocktaking
9. Making sure goods are optimally presented in accordance with the AIDA Shop standards
10. Assisting developing and implementing efficient advertising and marketing management on board
11. Complying with all security, cleanliness, and hygiene requirements
