YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with designers and architects to understand different use-cases
• Work closely with Linux development team
• You will be involved in software bringup of BSP on different platforms
• Design and prepare acceptance tests for BSP
• Validate Linux device drivers for different subsystems (test design, environment setup, writing tests, …)
• Debugging and root-cause analysis for software and hardware issues
• You will verify BSPs which will be delivered to other teams

YOUR PROFILE
To be successful in this role you will require:
• Successful university degree in Informatics/Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar qualification
• Minimum 5 years professional experience
• Vast experience in software design
• Solid knowledge of operating system internals
• Solid knowledge of SoC architecture
• Knowledge of the interactions within heterogeneous computer systems
• You are experienced with development in user space and have solid knowledge of Linux API
• Skilled C programmer
• Experienced with scripting languages (Python and Bash minimum)
• Understanding of Linux kernel and modules/drivers
• Experience with debugging mechanisms in Linux environment
• English spoken and written
Additionally, the following skills will be of advantage:
• Solid knowledge of build processes and tools (CMake, Make, Buildroot, Yocto, …)
• Solid knowledge of network technologies and distributed systems
• Modern C++ (C++14 and above)
• ISTQB certified tester foundation level
• Solid knowledge and practical experience in UML
• Good command of the German language, verbal and written
