Senior Engineer Battery Design (f/m/d)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design of the battery systems from conept till serial development
- Development of innovative design solutions for battery systems (module integration, thermal system, housing concepts & E/E design
- Development of battery components up to volume production stage
- Function and geometric integration of all components on battery module and battery system level
- Preparation of design devepment plans - time schedules, work flow in the scope of serial projects and prototype projects
- Preparation of component specifications and synchronize them with the customer/supplier
- Supplier management in the framework of serical projects
- Agreement on and coordination of project work with the customer
YOUR PROFILE
- Mechanical engineering/electrical engineering or similar graduate of a university of technology, university of applied sciences (secondary technical college)
- Professional experience in the development of electric battery systems for electric/hybrid vehicles
- Very good experience in CAD (CATIA / NX / PRO-E)
- Familiar with development processes in the automotive industry an advantage
- Autonomous, systematic and structured approach to work
- Flexibility, commitment and dedicated to work
- Good communication skills, organizational and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of German an advantage or willingness to learn German
- Very good knowledge of English and enthusiasm for international cooperation
