Senior Accountant Adria (m/f)
Our client, very successful international company is looking for Senior Accountant in their office in Zagreb (Croatia).
We are looking for an independent professional who is able to run the bookkeeping alone with support of colleagues from Slovenia and Austria.

The ideal candidate must have the following background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 5 years of work experience in this field
- Good knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
- Accounting, reporting and precision skills
- Knowledge of the accounting code
- Adaptability and teamwork
- Administration skills
- Knowledge of the English language
It is nice to have:
- Posting bank statements and cash payments
- Posting incoming invoices and all other necessary general ledger postings
- Posting and monitoring accruals
- Preparing bank payments
- Preparing internal reports for AT and SI
- Maintaining register of fixed assets
- Preparing VAT and Intrastate report
- Calculating and posting travel expenses
- Reconciliation of customers and vendors
- Communication with auditor, banks and tax authorities
- Office Management and Human resources
- Reminders
What you will do:
- Knowledge of accounting programs, preferably SAP
- Strong analytical, communication and computer skills
