Sales Excellence Consultant (m/f)

Job Description

Are you passionate about sales, processes and growth generation? Do you have a background in sales, consultancy, business analyzes – ideally in a global B2B environment? Are you interested in joining a global team and support the global sales organizations on development towards a best-in-class sales organization by supporting the implementation and transformation of sales models and processes? Then you might be the right person to become our new Sales Excellence Consultant within the Danfoss Heating Segment. The position can be location in any of our European subsidiaries.

We are looking for a candidate to become an important member of our Sales Excellence Team focusing on following goals:


  • Support sales improvement projects in line with business priorities
  • Deploy, with the team, existing and new standardized sales processes and sales tools (e.g. Sales Operating Model, Salesforce.com, sales enablement processes/tools, daily management tools)
  • Enabling sales to be accountable for pipeline accuracy and health, and overall sales predictability and transparency
  • Working within a global team of peers to improve sales excellence (strategy and deployment)
  • Responsible for training of global and local sales training programs on sales behaviors (e.g. Customer focused selling) and tools (e.g. new SFDC releases or Analytics)

Our ideal candidate:

  • Degree graduated Bachelor or Master in Business, Commerce or Engineering (with relevant interest in Sales and Marketing)
  • With a working experience within sales, analyzes, business advisory and consulting/coaching - ideally gained in a global B2B environment will be an advantage
  • Experienced in sales or sales supporting or sales excellence with a strong affinity for continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking while hands-on mentality and implementation skills
  • Familiar with working in a global, international matrix organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in small and large groups and all levels of the organization
  • High English oral and written skills; German and French an advantage
  • Excellent presentation and argumentation skills and ability to transfer the key messages in a convincing way
  • Ability to build connections and credibility in the markets
  • Willingness to travel, mainly within Europe 1-2 times per month on average basis
