Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Implementing requirements in the respective area of responsibility
- For cleanliness and maintaining the entrusted serving equipment
- Faithfully passing on information to the Maitre d´Hotel / Restaurant Manager, Assistant Maitre d´Hotel / Assistant Restaurant Manager, if there is a deviation in the process
- Complying with waste management to ensure environmental protection
- Acquire required expertise about all products and processes in the restaurant
- Properly serve food and beverages as per AIDA standards
- Have detailed knowledge of food and beverage options
- Professionally fulfill passenger wishes and independently approach customers with sales suggestions
- Independently take orders, serve guests, and guarantee orderly billing
- Act as a host Cooperate with all restaurant and bar staff to ensure restaurant runs smoothly
- Train new restaurant staff and junior stewards
- Assist during stocktaking
- Assist in fulfilling non-food orders
- Take reservations
