Build the Quality Function from the Ground Up.
Standex Electronics Croatia is launching a new manufacturing operation for instrument transformers (CT/VT) and electromagnetic components. We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager who is excited by the opportunity to build, lead, and shape an entire Quality function from day one.
This is a unique greenfield leadership role where you will establish quality systems, create processes, develop the local quality team, and work closely with our global organization to implement world-class quality standards. Your decisions, expertise, and leadership will directly influence the success of our newest manufacturing site.
Quality Manager (m/f)
Gornje Vratno (Varaždin County)
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements
- Build and develop the Quality department, including future team members, processes, and best practices
- Drive product, process, supplier, and customer quality initiatives
- Lead audits, certifications, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Global Quality teams to ensure successful production start-up and operational excellence
- Set quality objectives, monitor performance indicators, and ensure customer requirements are consistently achieved
- Promote a strong culture of quality throughout the organization
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with ISO 9001 and quality management systems
- Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and build effective cross-functional relationships
- Professional proficiency in English
- M365; knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1) will be considered an advantage
- At least five years of relevant experience in Quality management or a manufacturing environment
