Job Description
Python LNG is an independent engineering and technology company with roots in Singapore, providing specialized services in LNG and Energy infrastructure projects worldwide. Our engineering design office in Croatia works hand in hand with our team in Singapore to serve clients across the globe.
We provide a turn-key service: beyond engineering design, we support our clients through the full procurement cycle, from vendor selection and purchasing to fabrication follow-up and delivery of equipment to site.
We are looking for a Material Controller & Logistics Coordinator to keep track of every order from purchase to delivery. You will monitor fabrication progress, report to our clients, coordinate approvals and changes with xour engineering team, and manage international shipping and customs clearance to deliver equipment to our clients worldwide.
What matters to us is accuracy, ownership, careful record keeping and the ability to spot and resolve problems early. This is a highly responsible role: a small oversight can lead to project delays and significant cost overruns.
Key responsibilities
The role follows each order through its full journey, from procurement to delivery at the client’s site.
Procurement tracking & material control – keeping a complete and up-to-date record of every order.
• Track the status of all procurement packages, from vendor offers and technical evaluation through client approval, purchase orders and proforma invoices.
• Monitor payment milestones and down payments with clients and vendors, in coordination with the Procurement Lead.
• Maintain organized records of orders, changes and key communications for each vendor and project.
Fabrication monitoring & expediting – making sure equipment is built correctly and delivered on time.
• Monitor vendor fabrication progress and prepare weekly or biweekly progress reports for clients.
• Coordinate vendor approval requests and design changes with our engineering team, keeping the Procurement Lead informed.
• Identify potential delays early and report them to the responsible Project Manager.
Logistics & shipping – delivering equipment safely to the client or the client’s agent in the destination country.
• Obtain commercial invoices and packing lists from vendors and check all shipping documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate export customs clearance with our logistics partners and customs brokers.
• Arrange sea or air freight to destination and follow each shipment through to delivery.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including HS codes, bills of lading, air waybills and customs declarations.
Cost & budget support – helping us plan supply and costs for new projects.
• Collect vendor quotations and lead times and prepare cost comparison tables for the Procurement Lead.
• Support Project Managers in developing budgets for supply, fabrication, insurance and transportation.

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
What we are looking for
• Proven experience in international logistics, ideally with industrial or project-based equipment.
• Hands-on experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders and shipping companies.
• Good knowledge of shipping documents and procedures: commercial invoices, packing lists, HS codes, bills of lading, air waybills, Incoterms and customs declarations.
• Excellent record keeping, reporting and personal time management.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize and resolve potential mistakes before they become problems.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting and cost comparisons.
• Fluent English; Croatian is not essential.
Preferred
• Technical background or a good understanding of industrial equipment such as piping, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, instrumentation and electrical components.
• Experience in the oil and gas, LNG, marine or offshore industry.
• Experience with worldwide shipments.
A technical background is not essential. Our engineering team will provide all the technical support and explanations you need. What matters most is your experience in international shipping, logistics and record keeping.
