Maintenance manager (m/ž)

LOCATION: Zagreb
For our client, PARADOX MUSEUM, the most innovative and fastest growing company in the edutainment industry, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Maintenance Manager to join their team in Zagreb.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and organizing maintenance of the museums with regards to exhibits
- Providing guidance, tools and manuals on the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of exhibits to anticipate issues
- Providing support through the ticketing system. Responding timely on requests for maintenance
- Ensuring spare parts are in stock at all times
- Ensuring the local teams have the spare parts required at all times
- Visiting the museums semesterly to check on the maintenance; performing thorough maintenance and reporting back to the network director and the museum General Manager
- Supporting the local team in the selection process of the in-house museum maintenance manager (job description, interviews, training, etc)
- Reviewing contractual arrangements of the facility management company (where applicable)
- Cooperation with the production department, efficient and quick resolution of possible issues
- Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring their efficient implementation
- Managing relationship with museum General Managers and maintenance staff
- Planning and managing all repair activities in museums
- Allocating team members to assigned repair schedules
- Monitoring maintenance expenses, overseeing stock and placing orders for new supplies
- Ensure the museum's maintenance department is trained to be able to react promptly and resolve faults
- Coaching, mentoring and leading junior/new team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of previous work experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ management or facility management, or other certifications
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facility machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and managing performance skills
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Results-oriented
- Building trust competency
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Availability to travel (when required)
Nice to have:
- Additional foreign languages
- Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus
Skills in advance planning of spare parts and resolving possible problems
