We are currently looking for a regional Junior Sales Manager, Eastern Europe to promote and sell Kanghui Orthopedics (Trauma) innovative products to hospitals and healthcare professionals in the Eastern Europe region.

The main purpose of this role is to sell and promote the innovative range of Kanghui Orthopedics (Trauma) products. The jobholder is primarily responsible for selling the full range of products in region in a professional manner to distributors, hospitals and related healthcare professionals, as well as for the management of quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

A Day in the Life

You will be expected to maximize the opportunities and build strong business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share, leading through economic selling, developing and presenting commercial offers:

  • To achieve/ exceed Sales targets for Medtronic Kanghui Orthopedics business in Eastern Europe.
  • To promote Medtronic Kanghui Orthopedics trauma (priority) and spine products to our customers through customer visits, training and education and other marketing activities, so as to maximize business performance.
  • To manage and support our distributors through regular communication/meetings, so as to respond to their queries and issues. Furthermore, to understand distributor(s) presence and their activities so as to find ways to increase market penetration.
  • To collect market information e.g. market share, tender prices, competitive pricing, in-market sales, etc. to aid in developing market strategy.
  • To conduct trainings to surgeons and distributors on Kanghui products.
  • To establish a network with the key stakeholders in the Trauma (priority) and Spine markets namely: Surgeons, Physicians, theatre staff and C suite personnel.
  • To develop and manage relationships with high profile customers, accounts and opinion leaders and working closely with other Spine /RTG leaders and distributors.
  • To develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the customer base, and effectively build a positive working relationship between Medtronic and key accounts.
  • To collaborate with other cross-functional teams - Finance, Business Development, R&D, HR, Clinical and Regulatory teams.
  • To serve as a sales leader for the Kanghui Business, partnering with senior management in leading business-wide initiatives that deliver sustainable revenue growth and increased profitability.
  • To develop a 5-year strategic plan that will position Kanghui to win in the market, including marketing and sales campaigns, pricing strategies, product phase in/phase out, and inventory and distribution management.
  • To maintain the company's ethical position. Effectively communicate and manage company business conduct policies.

Must Haves and Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree (medical background is highly preferred).
  • Min 5+ years healthcare/medical device sales and regional experience, preferably in the fields of Trauma.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken in an Eastern European and in English language.
  • Experience in distributor management.
  • Ability to understand and execute business strategy flawlessly
  • Knowledge of marketing analysis, practices, strategies, planning, data collection and analysis.
  • Able to quickly prioritize jobs under pressure and anticipate the changing needs of customers.
  • Demonstrate leadership and motivation skills, strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Good experience in developing and leading market initiatives and setting up business plans.
  • Goal setting and implementation skills demonstrated by a clear record of accomplishments in prior personal and professional pursuits.
  • Desire to win with a drive on results
  • Ability to travel frequently across the country as required by the business (over 50% of time).
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams and cross geography teams.
  • Collaborative, ethical, highly motivated and good communicator.
