International Sales Manager (m/f)


  • Passion for representing a dynamic hotel group with strong focus on Premium Hotels with vibrant charm and international flair
  • Enjoying selling special costumer experiences, travel motives strongly present in Leisure destinations
  • Being the main contact for companies and agencies interested in hip places to stay – developing a network and finding new opportunities
  • Implementation and optimization of a general sales strategy, creating action plans for Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences across the markets
  • Focus on acquiring new partners in Leisure (niche and premium agencies) as well as expansion of the booking link landscape
  • Finding new partners for Incentives and Sports groups (summer and winter)
  • Regular alignment with HQV Vienna for pro-active proposal of packages and promotions according to the hotels’ positionings and needs
  • Pro-active Key Account Management (total account management) and strategic client management in order to achieve sales targets and generate new business, including the negotiation and closing of contracts with main TOs, MICE agencies and Networks
  • Planning of and representation at trade fairs, workshops, and client events
  • Organization of sales trips, sales calls and Fam trips
  • Ensuring S&M activities (sales calls, fairs, workshops) are stored correctly in systems (i.e. Protel)
  • Implementation and ensuring of sales data quality to drive meaningful and smart campaigns to increase overall revenue
  • Close observation of the markets, trends and competitors
  • Development and management of local, regional & corporate partnerships
  • Strong pro-active attitude
  • Planning and briefing of B2B trade marketing actions for the responsible area in cooperation with the Marketing department
  • Responsible for payments processing and contract signatures


  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the sale of upscale hotels (4 star, 5 star) in a comparable leadership position
  • Proven track record and strong international network
  • Enjoy a modern lifestyle and passion for Premium hotels - interest in sports
  • Critical thinker and problem solver
  • Negotiating skills and flexibility
  • High customer and service orientation
  • High degree of initiative and a purposeful way of working
  • Clearly structured and with good organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and good leadership capabilities
  • Able to set priorities
  • Analytical capabilities
  • Very good English knowledge, additional languages of advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), knowledge of Protel or other PMS systems of advantage
  • Good presentation skills
  • Driving license and willingness to travel
