For our client, an international energy company focused on developing solutions and infrastructure through renewable energy sources, we are looking for a person with strong multitasking and organizational skills for the position:

HQSE Technician (m/f)
Location: Split

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensuring proper implementation of QSE standards by internal and contractor staff
Focusing on safety practices like Lock Out Tag Out, Pre-job Briefings, and Work Permits
Coordinating safety meetings and contractor health & safety
Organizing emergency drills and providing support during real emergencies
Overseeing safety equipment and PPE
Conducting QSE inspections and on-site training
Assisting production staff with Non-Conformities (NCs) and incident reports
Ensuring product and service quality from suppliers
Promoting Health & Safety, Environmental, and Social Responsibility values among staff and contractors
Supporting the review of Environmental Studies for new projects
Providing general support to the QSE Manager in achieving department goals

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

High school or Higher education in areas of Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental or related discipline
Previous experience in QHSE area is a plus
Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage time and schedule priorities
Knowledge of EHS Croatian legislation
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 is preferred
Good knowledge of MS Office tools and other collaborative digital tools
Languages: Croatian/Native, English/Advanced in speaking and writing
Driving license: category B - the job is based in Split, with frequent travel to sites across Croatia
