House DJ (m/f)
We are seeking a talented and energetic House DJ to create memorable musical experiences for our guests. The House DJ is responsible for curating and performing music that enhances the atmosphere of the hotel’s bars, lounges, pool areas, and special events, ensuring an upscale and engaging guest experience aligned with the hotel brand.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform live DJ sets in hotel outlets (lounge, bar, pool, beach club, events) according to the weekly entertainment schedule.
- Curate music playlists that match the venue’s concept, time of day, and guest profile.
- Maintain a high-quality sound experience, ensuring smooth transitions and appropriate volume levels.
- Collaborate with the Entertainment, Marketing, and F&B teams on themed nights, special events, and activations.
- Read the crowd and adjust music style and energy accordingly to maximize guest engagement.
- Ensure all DJ equipment is properly set up, maintained, and safely stored.
- Follow hotel brand standards, grooming guidelines, and professional conduct at all times.
- Support private events, VIP functions, and seasonal programming when required.
- Stay updated on current music trends, especially in house, lounge, and chill-out genres.
- Ensure compliance with noise regulations and hotel policies.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Proven experience as a professional DJ in hotels, clubs, beach clubs, or luxury lounges.
- Strong knowledge of house, deep house, lounge, chill-out, and commercial music.
- Ability to read diverse international audiences.
- Proficiency with professional DJ equipment and software (e.g., Pioneer, Serato, Rekordbox, Traktor).
- Strong sense of timing, atmosphere creation, and brand alignment.
- Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
- English required; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience in a 4* or 5* hotel environment.
- Background in luxury hospitality entertainment.
- Ability to support light MC duties when required.
- Music production skills are a plus.
