Head of Finance and Controlling (m/f)

Our client, Vemo Trade, is a company that has specialized in the production of paper bags over
the last 25 years. They employ over 100 staff members, with approximately 95% of their total
capacity dedicated to exporting to EU countries.
In 2023, the company underwent a change in ownership and is now 100% owned by the Alfi PE
and ACP Group funds.
For their successful team, we are currently seeking a new colleague for the position:
Head of Finance and Controlling (m/f)
Location: Koprivnica / Zagreb
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Taking ownership of reporting, and developing internal policies and procedures
- Driving internal process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity across the organization
- Managing working capital to ensure optimal cash flow for operational needs and strategic investments
- Contributing to budgeting activities, aligning financial plans with organizational goals
- Monitoring and analyzing investments and production costs
- Introducing and optimizing inventory accounting processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency
- Taking ownership of the full Profit and Loss (P&L) statement
- Leading the financial audit process
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE?
- Master's degree in economics or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience on similar positions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire for professional development and a proactive approach to tasks
