PythonLNG is a company specialized in offshore LNG project development, based in Singapore and expanding our engineering team in Rijeka. We work as an extension of the Owner’s team, combining engineering, procurement support, and construction management to deliver offshore EPC projects.
We are involved across the full project lifecycle, from early concepts to detailed engineering, and through construction and commissioning. This means your work doesn’t stop at design, you see how things are actually built and made to work.
Most of our projects are fast-track and non-standard. There’s rarely a template to follow. You’ll be expected to think, solve problems, and take responsibility, not just execute tasks. Our projects span Singapore, Malaysia, China, Turkey, Germany, Egypt, Brazil, Mexico, and Africa. The systems are real, complex, and operating, not just drawings that stay on paper.

Job Description
We are looking for an E&I Lead Engineer responsible for instrumentation design, control systems, and integration of electrical and automation systems for LNG and marine retrofit projects. This role acts as the discipline lead, ensuring proper system functionality, safety, and coordination across all engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
• Define instrumentation and control philosophy in coordination with Process Engineering
• Develop and maintain:
- Instrument index
- I/O lists
- Control system architecture
• Prepare cause & effect diagrams, ESD logic, and safety system design (Fire & Gas)
• Specify instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level) and control devices
• Define and integrate:
- PAGA systems
- CCTV systems
- Alarm and monitoring systems
• Ensure proper integration with ship control systems and interfaces
• Lead and coordinate E&I discipline activities within the project
• Provide technical guidance to Electrical Engineer (power) and E&I Designer
• Support procurement with technical evaluation of instrumentation and control systems
Occasional business trips for vessel pre-engineering inspection, installation work supervision, and commissioning.

Requirements
• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering
• 7–12+ years of experience in instrumentation and control ystems
• Strong experience with ESD, Fire & Gas, and safety systems
• Experience in LNG, offshore, or process plant projects
• Understanding of marine integration and retrofit challenges
Preferred
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems
• Familiarity with IEC, ISA, and marine standards
• Experience in multidisciplinary EPC projects
• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering
• 7–12+ years of experience in instrumentation and control ystems
• Strong experience with ESD, Fire & Gas, and safety systems
• Experience in LNG, offshore, or process plant projects
