PythonLNG is a company specialized in offshore LNG project development, based in Singapore and expanding our engineering team in Rijeka. We work as an extension of the Owner’s team, combining engineering, procurement support, and construction management to deliver offshore EPC projects.
We are involved across the full project lifecycle, from early concepts to detailed engineering, and through construction and commissioning. This means your work doesn’t stop at design, you see how things are actually built and made to work.
Most of our projects are fast-track and non-standard. There’s rarely a template to follow. You’ll be expected to think, solve problems, and take responsibility, not just execute tasks. Our projects span Singapore, Malaysia, China, Turkey, Germany, Egypt, Brazil, Mexico, and Africa. The systems are real, complex, and operating, not just drawings that stay on paper.

Job Description
We are seeking an E&I Designer responsible for preparing detailed drawings and documentation for electrical and instrumentation systems in ship conversion and offshore projects. The role supports both power and instrumentation disciplines by producing accurate and installation-ready deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed drawings including:
- Cable routing and tray layouts
- Cable schedules
- Hook-up drawings
- Wiring and termination diagrams
• Develop loop diagrams and interconnection diagrams
• Produce cable and instrument BOQs
• Support development of installation drawings and documentation
• Update drawings based on engineering inputs and revisions
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineer and E&I Lead for design implementation
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and fabrication requirements
Occasional business trips for vessel pre-engineering inspection, installation work supervision, and commissioning.

Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3–8+ years of experience in E&I design and drafting
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD tools
• Understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems
• Ability to interpret engineering documents (P&IDs, I/O lists, SLDs)
Preferred
• Experience in marine, offshore, or industrial projects
• Familiarity with cable routing and installation practices
• Exposure to hazardous area requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3–8+ years of experience in E&I design and drafting
