We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Jet2holidays Team as a Destination Manager for Summer 2024 in Split.
Our Destination Managers have overall responsibility for managing the planning, performance and service delivery< of Jet2holidays across the destination.

What will you do in the role?
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will Work as One Team with our local agent in resort and senior UK stakeholders to achieve set KPIs, ensuring company policies, procedures and values are always followed. You will be provided with fantastic training to ensure you:
- Oversee and drive the performance of a large team of Airport and Resort based Team Leaders and Customer Helpers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our hoteliers, local agent, transfer provider and internal UK based departments through regular in-resort and airport visits
- Maximise Jet2holidays presence in your destination, ensuring branding and quality guidelines are always adhered to
- Deliver a strong destination of performance and results, feeding back to senior UK stakeholders where improvements can be made
- Have the confidence and skills to successfully manage high-level customer incidents
- Constantly review and manage your destinations budget
What are the key skills / experience you'll already have?
- Previous senior operational management experience, gained from working within a tour operator
- The ability to effectively analyse and report on key operational results
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at a Senior level
- Evidence of previous successful team leadership and motivational skills
- Previous experience in recruiting, training, and managing a large team
- The confidence to handle a variety of situations and make considered decisions at a senior managerial level in tight timeframes
- The ability to positively address any performance issues within your team, in line with company policies and procedures
Being part of the Senior Overseas Management Team, you will have various roles & responsibilities and as such we do not have a set working shift pattern. You will need to be very flexible in your approach to work; being on call 24 hours a day forms part of the role, should there be a serious customer incident in your destination.
As we employ on local employment contracts, ideally you will already hold full right to work documents for the country where the role is based and be living in the destination or willing and able to source your own accommodation and required documents.
Due to the level of travel required in the role, you will already be a driver with access to your own vehicle which you are able to use for work purposes. Travel expenses are reimbursed.
