Currently we are looking for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and to successfully fulfill the position of:
Customer Finance Specialist (m/f)
Location: Zagreb
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issue and post outgoing invoices and perform monthly service calculations for business partners
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and coordinate payment arrangements
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate ledger records
- Prepare and distribute aging reports, open-balance statements, and monthly reports for management and customers
- Manage rebates and discount schemes, including system entries, accruals for bonuses, and issuance of credit/debit notes
- Communicate daily with customers regarding financial matters, resolving discrepancies and payment-related issues
- Support agreement and maintenance of payment terms in cooperation with the Commercial Team
- Prepare documentation for audits and debt collection procedures when required
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure accuracy of financial data and customer records
- Prepare and share regular financial and receivables reports with the Sales Team, providing analytical insights to support decision-making
- Other related duties as assigned
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar finance role
- Excellent knowledge of English language, spoken and written
- Previous experience with discount or promotional pricing is a plus (tracking and entering to system)
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional responsibilities outlined in the role
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Technical skills as Microsoft Office (advance proficiency) and BI tools
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage
- Team player with good self-motivation and positive attitude
