Business Development Manager (m/f) - Nutraceutical Ingredients

Our client, an international supplier of nutraceutical ingredients serving dietary supplement brands and contract manufacturers worldwide, is currently looking for a new colleague to support their growth and further market positioning in Croatia and across Europe in the position of:
Business Development Manager - Nutraceutical Ingredients
Location: Croatia - remote
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop new B2B clients in the nutraceutical and supplement industry
- Build relationships with DTC supplement brands, private label companies, e-commerce nutrition brands and contract manufacturers
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with purchasing managers, product managers and founders of supplement brands
- Present the company’s ingredient portfolio to potential clients
- Support lead generation and market development activities in Croatia and other European markets
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities when needed
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales or similar commercial roles
- Experience working with B2B clients and developing long-term business relationships
- Familiarity with the dietary supplements, nutraceutical or health & wellness industry is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain client relationships
- Confident, approachable and comfortable working with different stakeholders and decision-makers
- Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
