Area Sales Manager - Croatia and Slovenia (m/f)

Our client is a UK-based specialist in supplying engineered process equipment and technical solutions to the Refining, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
They are currently looking for new colleague on a position:
Area Sales Manager - Croatia and Slovenia (m/f)
Lokacija: Zagreb
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and increase sales of products and solutions in Croatia and Slovenia
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day running of Zagreb office, including local administration and logistics
- Establish, maintain, and expand customer base within the Refining and Petrochemical sectors
- Service the needs of existing customers and key accounts, ensuring excellent technical and commercial support
- Update the Company CRM system on a weekly basis for all activity in Croatia and Slovenia
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new routes to market and additional product lines in related process sectors
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with regional and global objectives
- Compile and analyse sales figures, forecasts, and reports for senior management
- Maintain relationships with major existing customers, and other key process operators and EPCs in the region
- Collect customer feedback and undertake market research to support business planning
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and partner training meetings both locally and internationally
- Ensure compliance with company policies, reporting standards, and ethical business practices
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong technical or engineering background, ideally in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in industrial or technical sales, preferably within the Refining, Petrochemical, or Process Industries
- Demonstrated success in building and managing customer relationships at senior levels
- Experience in office or small-team management desireable
- Proficiency in using CRM reporting tools
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate complex solutions clearly
- Good business sense, initiative and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Competent IT, budgeting, and report-writing skills
- Driving licence
- Fluent in Croatian and English (Slovenian and/or German beneficial)
