Accounting Specialist (m/f)

For their new office in Zagreb, we're searching for a team member to take on the role of:
Accounting Specialist m/f
Location: Zagreb
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Supporting area of responsibility also includes checking, accounting and posting all business transactions as well as reconciling fixed assets
- Supporting preparation of tax reports and communication with auditors and tax advisors
- Supporting carrying out and forwarding monthly and annual reports to the headquarters
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to support financial initiatives
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a manufacturing company
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output
- Fluent knowledge of English in written and spoken communication
- Knowledge of the HGB and IFRS
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP R/3
- Customer oriented approach
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
