Accounting Manager (m/f)

Our client is a global manufacturer of innovative, award-winning radial tires of proven superior
quality for passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, RVs, trucks, and buses as well as motorsports (circuit
racing/rallies). The manufacturer operates further branches in Czech Republic, France, Germany,
Austria, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UK, Serbia and
Ukraine. Their products are sold directly through regional distributors in other local markets.

countries.
For their new office in Zagreb, we're searching for a team member to take on the role of:
Accounting Manager (m/f)
Location: Zagreb
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Checking, accounting, and posting all business transactions
- Reconciling fixed assets
- Working on various projects and coordinating system inventory
- Preparing tax reports and communicating with auditors and tax advisors
- Carrying out and forwarding monthly and annual reports to the headquarters
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience (10 years) in accounting or finance roles, ideally in a manufacturing company
- In-depth knowledge of the HGB and IFRS
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP R/3
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach
- Fluent in English language, written and spoken communication
