Independent Development Engineer for Design (m/f)
- Zagreb
Main responsibilities are the fulfillment of functional requirements in relation to the construction and mechanical solutions within the given timeframe and the transfer of knowledge and competencies within the Group.
Responsibilities:
• Research and development of new technologies, construction and mechanical components for special-purpose machine with remote control
• Preparation of preliminary designs, conceptual and detailed design of new structures
• Budgeting and feasibility analysis of structural solutions
• Participating in the preparation of detailed functional and technical documentation of design solutions
• The integration of mechanical and electronic components of the prototype machine
• Participating in the development, testing and prototype testing machines
• Improvement of structures and mechanical components of the existing machines
• Mentoring junior engineers

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical engineering - Design
Minimum 2-5 years of working experience in the field of engineering design required
• Experience in design and implementation of firefighting systems and components (preferred),
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and ability to read hydraulic schematic,
• Computer and CAD literate (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office),
• Working knowledge of Solidworks EPDM (preferred),
• High level of technical English in speech and writing,
• Must be a self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision,
• Willing to travel as required.
