Job: Start-up Representative
Mandate
Under the direction of the Supervisor – Installation and Start-up, the Start-up Representative participates in the follow-up of the installations and is in charge of the start up. He is also responsible of customer support. Moreover, he organizes his work in order to meet the timelines and costs of the project and the performance criteria of the systems.
Responsibilities:
• Completing start-up of equipment until the approval of the customer;
• Ensuring that the different protocols (security, I/O validation, etc.) has been performed;
• Making sure that the network is functional;
• Submitting reports on the work progress and on lost of time due to the customer, in order to inform the Project Managers of any possible delays and/or additional costs;
• Controlling and ensuring the quality of the installation and of the final adjustments, and also transferring the knowledge to avoid repeating mistakes;
• Completing the start-up phase on or before the promised date and promoting effective cooperation and communication between the different departments involved in the installation and start-up;
• Participating in the initiatives for continuous improvement, standardization and improvement of the installation and start-up processes, in a context of change focused on production;
• Ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety rules and a favorable work atmosphere;
• Passing on the corporate vision and the values conveyed in the corporate policies of the Company.

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Requirements:
• University degree in Electrical Engineering or in Automated Production or completion of a college program in Electrotechnics or in a related discipline;
• More than two (2) years of experience with automated systems;
• Spoken and written languages:
- English;
- Croatian (asset);
- French (asset).
• Frequent overseas travelling (more than 6 months per year, based on returns every 6 weeks);
• Good knowledge in several of the following specialities:
- PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens);
- Robot (ABB, Fanuc);
- Industrial Network (Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet);
- Interface Operator (Panel View Plus).
• Skills to read electrical drawings;
• Troubleshooting of automated systems;
• Knowledge in industrial data processing (an asset).
Required Skills
• Leadership and customer approach;
• Capacity of analysis and problem solving;
• Ability to work in teams, with rigor and commitment to quality;
• Being able to work under pressure and in an environment of changing priorities.
