Lead Software Developer (m/f) – Remote
AA Euro Croatia is a member of AA Euro Group Ltd. We are a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating globally. We recruit for jobs in Ireland and Europe across the Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Security, Finance & HR.
We have been retained by an Irish invoice financing company to recruit a Lead Software Developer. Our client is a young and innovative fintech company that helps businesses free up cash trapped in their invoices.
The position can be remote or be based in Dublin or Waterford offices alternatively.
The Role:
- Working within and overseeing our agile delivery methodology.
- Ensuring that consistent design patterns, methodologies, and design documentation are maintained across all development work.
- Performing and supporting technical & design reviews.
- Contributing to the planning activities involved in estimating project delivery.
- Performing a leading role in the design, development, and system releases.
- Being Self-motivated and keen to learn new technologies and methodologies
- Performing production support tasks as required.
- Assisting in the testing of overall system solution, monitoring defects and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Sharing expertise across the organization and mentoring other engineers on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ relevant IT development experience with 5+ in a lead role.
- Knowledge of Azure platform, associated architectural/development approaches and supporting tools e.g. Azure DevOps, etc.
- Working with Azure PaaS and SaaS components e.g. App Services, Analytics Functions, etc.
- Knowledge/Experience in Microsoft Azure Storage solutions.
- Knowledge of one or more Azure orientated high-level programming languages, such as .NET core and C#.
- Web development language i.e. HTML5, CSS, Java.
- SQL queries and database management.
- Data Warehouse and PowerBI experience.
- Experience with Jira applications, e.g. Project Management, Service Desk Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.
- Experience automation of build/release from Development to Production environment through Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
- IT Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or relevant business or technical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent in verbal and written English.
- The employer can provide employment only to candidates with EU citizenship
