Where does this role fit in to Version 1?
With recent significant wins, Version 1 now has the opportunity to see an unprecedented expansion in its Java Capability Practice across every level in the solution development and service deployment lifecycle and across all our major sectors – Financial Services, Public Sector, Commercial and Utilities.
The demands of our customers are significant. This creates an exciting vista of opportunity, in a high performance high visibility environment, where large scale projects using modern technology will be generally, the order of the day. The chance to be part of projects of this scale and complexity represents a potential high point in any consulting career, irrespective of the career stage in which we find ourselves. What skills do I need to succeed in this job?
Candidates need 3-6 years Java experience and need to have worked in a disciplined development environment. Emphasis is on communications skills and teamwork. We encourage interest from young enthusiastic developers with an interest in a fast track career in a high energy environment where there is good exposure to a modern technologies.

Working within an Agile environment is desirable.
What other attributes will I need to be successful?
Developers will be responsible for delivery of project components according to Functional Requirements Specifications. They must be comfortable with working to technical designs and perform unit testing, integration testing and supporting system testing.
Project methodologies include both Waterfall and Agile.
