Our client is an international production company in industrial and maritime combustion technology. For the production site in Zagreb they are currently looking for eligible candidates for the following position:
Plant Manager (m/f)
– Zagreb
Responsibilities:
• Manages the local production as a part of the global group by implementing and running a continuous improvement approach
• Safeguards the supply service level and quality to customers and other production sites
• Reorganizes production processes in order to optimize conversion costs for the improvement of site competitiveness
• Supervises the engineering resources on site as part of central engineering
• Maintains and improves the standards in the areas of Safety, Quality, Environment, and Health in accordance with legal and the group requirements
• Leads, coaches and develops the site team competencies. Safeguards long-term personnel planning.
• Cooperates with other departments of the company (Sales, Business Units, T+E, finance, personnel) to achieve synergies and continuous improvement
• Conducts and manages the approved investment budget in timeliness and expenditure.

Requirements:
• Deep knowledge of steel manufacture (shipyards); technical background and understanding
• Good people management skills, preferably with experience in running matrix based
organizations
• Good customer focus
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills, but is also willing to be a part of a team
• Cooperates trustfully on an international level
• Constantly strives for cost and quality improvement
• Hands-on mentality
• Familiar with SAP and MS Office-tools
• Fluent in Croatian and English, German working proficiency an asset
