Job title: Mechanical Technologist
Description:
Our multinational company is currently looking for a Mechanical Technologist to work at our Kandahar Afghanistan Project.

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibility:
• Responsible for setting work priorities, monitoring work progress and engineering product quality control for all mechanical related tasks.
• Responsible for technical reports and recommendations concerning the mechanical facilities.
• Produces designs for minor new mechanical works and renovation projects, including cost estimations and technical descriptions (Statement of Work).
• Responsible for supervising contractors and ensures that contracted works are within the agreed technical requirements.

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Knowledge and Core Skill Requirements:
Required
• Possession of certification/degree required with 5+ years experience
• Military construction experience desirable
• Have extensive knowledge of Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in the English language
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Desirable:
• Experience of military working environment
• Ability to us Auto CAD
Working conditions
• Must be able to function in a multi faced, diversified operating environment
• Must be able to function in extreme weather conditions including prolonged periods of heat in the summer and cold weather in the winter
