JOB TITLE: JAVA Developer for Prague
JOB LOCATION: Prague – Czech Republic
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our customer, an industry leader in digital security for Telecom and Finance sector, is the world’s largest producer of smart cards, supplier of complex customer solutions and smart card services.
The team based in Prague (project managers/integrators/testers/developpers) is oriented mostly on telecommunication and serves a large range of Telecom operators in Europe but also not in CISMEA (Africa-middle east) Customers are also big group : Vodafone group, O2 group, Orange group etc.
Responsibilities:
- responsible for developing applications based on specific company’s products and customer (Telecom operators) requirements
- working in a challenging team environment
- have the enthusiasm and ambition to complete projects to the highest standard
- to be part of an international organization
- use your skills to develop, solve technical problems, and determine the right technical solutions/design for our clients
- using your passion for technology - work on products from Technical Specifications (CRS) through Design Specifications (SDD) to development of server side software component
- development with interface with technical leaders, validators, integrators and projects manager.

Technical Requirements:
- Development skills in Java standard edition and J2EE (EJB) :
- basic knowledge/experience and practice in EJB is important.
- Knowledge of junit or good unit tests process.
- Knowledge of one application server (jboss , or weblogic)
- Good development methodology expertise of life cycle of the project
- Experience with SQL (environment PL/SQL) Oracle Database and Unix OS (HP UX, Sun Solaris, Linux) envrionment + vmware could be good.
- knowledge of spring , axis , web services development and javascript will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Telecom networks and security + handsets dev. (GSM/3G, secure SW/PKI, simcard, J2ME middlets) is also an advantage
Other Requirements:
- Fluent English, it will be an international team and multicultural environment,
- Possibility to have short business travel (in Europe) for knowledge transfert
- Customer and service orientation,
- Proactive and communicative people
- University graduate with a technical degree,
- 2 - 4 years experience in similar role is required.
