| Opis radnog mjesta: | Job title: Airport Passenger Handler Description: ATCO Frontec Europe Ltd. Our multinational company is currently looking for Airport Passenger Handlers to work at our Kandahar Afghanistan Project. NATO Secret Security Clearance certification and experience in customer service are mandatory requirements. Experience within the Aviation Industry is preferable, as is experience working in a Military environment. Due to the high number of applicants only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. We offer: • Competitive salary • Free meal and accommodation • Paid vacation after each 6 months rotation Responsibilities General Accountability: Under limited AFE and military supervision of the AFE CATO Passenger Handler is responsible for the welfare of all passengers arriving or departing on aircraft tasked to be handled by the Combined Air Transport Operations element at Kandahar Airfield. Structure: The AFE CATO Passenger Handler reports directly to the nominated AFE CATO Passenger Shift Supervisor and has no direct reports. Dimensions: AFE CATO Passenger Handlers are responsible for completing all relevant tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with all CATO SOP’s and WI’s. Specific Accountabilities: • Creates accurate computer generated Passenger Manifests for departing aircraft. • Ensures the welfare of all transiting passengers travelling on aircraft handled by CATO, • Controls of the Passenger Information Desk and updates the flight information computer screen, • Sets-up, operates and controls the Passenger Check-In Desk as required for all departing CATO tasked aircraft, • Presents Flight Safety Briefings for departing passengers, • Escorts arriving / departing passengers to / from aircraft, • Assists, where practical, with onward transport or billeting issues for arriving passengers, • Updates Daily Flight Information Board, • Requests CATO transport assets to provide passenger transport when required, • Checks the weights of Passenger Baggage, when required • Collates statistics and files aircraft paperwork. • Deputizes for the Passenger Supervisor, if required. • Liaises with the USAF passenger desk and ATOC for jointly handled flights, • Completes any other relevant task requested by the AFE CATO Passenger Supervisor, and • Completes any other relevant duties, as requested by the AFE Terminal Manger. | Znanja i kvalifikacije: | Educational and Experience Requirements: • NATO SECRET • 6 months experience within an airport or similar environment • NATO level 2222 in English or close with evaluation • Working knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Databases. • Basic understanding of Military [NATO] Radio [Rx/Tx] Procedures • Understanding of the NATO Phonetic Alphabet. • Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures and automated systems related to Passenger handling activities. • Knowledge of the organization and chain of command to understand functional relationships, to obtain information, to solve problems and effectively function in day-to-day operations. • Knowledge of the department, its mission and structure in order to understand who the clients are and where they are located when solving problems and discrepancies. • Knowledge of NATO ranks structure, acronyms and terminology to ensure respect and understanding when communicating. • Drivers license (Desired) • First aid • Firefighting indoctrination Additional Comments: This is demanding position requiring the incumbent to work in an environment of conditions varying between exceptionally hot and dusty to temperatures below freezing. The incumbent will be physically fit and able to work continuously in these extreme conditions. |
