The Embassy of the Republic of India in Zagreb, Croatia is looking for suitable candidate for post of Clerk (Accountant).
Broad description of work:
• All work relating to maintenance of Embassy accounts;
• Accounts data collection, compilation and filing;
• Preparation of monthly/periodic/annual accounting Reports (i.e. progressive expenditure, cash balance etc.);
• Liaison with commercial banks/local Foreign Office/local tax authorities etc. (including VAT refunds);
• Liaison with local suppliers;
• Assistance in preparation for Embassy audits; and
• Any other miscellaneous work that may be assigned from time to time.
Salary: (Per Month)
• Pay scale (in Euro): 1045-35-1570-47-2040-61-2650
• Basic Salary at the minimum of scale: Euro 1045
O zaposleniku
• A University degree in Commerce, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent qualification;
• All round proficiency in English and Croatian languages;
• Candidate should be long-term resident of Croatia;
• Candidate should know Typing and be conversant with normal Accountancy office work and practices;
• Candidates should have good working knowledge of Computer including MS-Word, MS-Excel, Power Point etc.;
• Past experience in similar position would be an asset; and
• Working knowledge of general accounting rules and systems.
