One of Croatia’s leading International law firms seeks a Tax Professional to join its highly regarded Zagreb office.
Our client provides counsel to international clients conducting cross-border business in CEE and beyond. The firm’s clients value both the breadth of its international network and depth of its local law capabilities.
The firm is currently searching for a senior tax professional with technical tax experience as well as expertise in dealing with tax authorities to join their tax practice in Zagreb. The successful candidate will have a broad range of technical corporate tax expertise in diverse facets of international business taxation including in mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, capital markets, international tax planning, transfer pricing, VAT and customs duties, financial institution, and property taxation.
Successful candidates will be responsible for providing clients of the firm with tax effective solutions that are commercially workable in a local and cross-border transactional context. In addition, the ideal candidate will be commercially minded in his or her approach, and possess the ability to structure deals from both local and international tax perspectives.

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive tax law experience working at one of the Big 4 firms or an international law firm is highly beneficial. Candidates having gained relevant work experience abroad and/or have studied (LLM) abroad are preferred.
You should possess proven leadership skills and a keen interest in client and firm development. Accordingly, your significant professional network and client base will be viewed very favorably by our client.
In addition, fluency in English and Croatian – both written and spoken, is essential. Fluency in other languages, especially Italian and German is an asset.
