Role description

Reverse engineering of the complete solution set up.
Perform documentation, server creation / configuration procedures and maintenance. Realization of the diagrams.
Standardization / simplification recommendation
Analysis, recommendations and implementation of the security level
GDPR compliance analysis and audit trail implementation.
Improved database management (structure / backup / …).
Certificate management (sFTP, Web Services, …)
Provide support (remote: tel / mail / remote office, …) for specific requests and planned interventions: a balance of days must be available for this purpose.

Required expertise

Experiences of implementation, management and evolution of Linux environment in Data Center
Knowledge Management (CMDB), documentation and procedures
Management of the security layer
Experience in Datawarehouse
Configuration & Administration of Ubuntu Linux servers and related technologies; sFTP / Proxy Squid / Security, …
Managing virtual servers in a VMware vCloud infrastructure
Network technology such as TCP / IP, ARP, switch, routing, firewall …
Server security and protocols
Knowledge of database management system and data warehouse.
Writing of documentation and technical procedures.
English is a must
Dutch/ French/ German are a big plus
