Senior Environmental Scientist (m/f) – Ireland
AA Euro Croatia is a member of AA Euro Group Ltd. We are a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating globally. We recruit for jobs in Ireland and Europe across the Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Security, Finance & HR.
We are seeking Senior Environmental Scientists for our client to join their Waste and Resource Management team in the Dublin, Cork or Carlow office. Our client is one of Ireland’s largest Irish owned consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a project team reporting to the Project Director, as well as leading individual projects as Project Manager
- Project management and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Environmental Assessments, Appropriate Assessments, planning application documentation and other environmental reports
- Providing expert environmental technical assistance to the business
- Actively participating in the delivery of business development initiatives
- Managing the implementation of regulatory approvals
- Exposure to a broad range of areas within the waste management and environmental sectors, including, but not limited to, planning and EIAR, waste management, infrastructure development, waste licensing and permits, Industrial Emissions licensing, and environmental due diligence.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant environmental discipline
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in an environmental position
- Proven track record in Project management and contribution to the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, planning and licence/permit applications for a wide range of projects
- Experience with planning, environmental and waste management legislation
- Excellent attention to detail
- A full driving licence
- Excellent in verbal and written English
- Croatian or any other EU citizenship is mandatory.
