Marketing Manager for Events (m/f)

Marketing Manager for Events (m/f)
YOUR TASKS:
- Development of event plan for all Croatian properties in coordination with hotel operations and Regional Marketing Lead SEE. Events are including but not limited to sports games, concerts, festivals, and other in properties and destination (Zadar, Island of Krk)
- For events, responsible for offline and online media planning and buying, inhouse & cross-selling promotion, PR and social media (in close collaboration with the regional marketing team and headquarter)
- Creation/ adaptation and placement of event promotional materials (e.g. flyers, posters, flags, rollups) in cooperation with the internal graphics departments and following the CI/CD guidelines
- Responsible for regular events updates on websites and social media
- Main contact for event details & inputs to in-house marketing teams, partners, media and shootings and video productions
- Regular coordination with hotel operational team or event agency during the event implementation
- Drive and suggest improvement for event promotion across all marketing channels
- Creation of thematic packages/ offers for events
- Attending events roadshows, trade shows planning
- Managing events budget, including securing sponsorships and negotiating rates with vendors
- Manage relationships with contacts from external agencies, program venues and event management within the tourism boards
- Organization and implementation of co-marketing activities related to events: finding suitable partners, negotiations, creation and production of materials
- Regular coordination with tourism boards to detect new opportunities for events development, other destination related co-operations opportunities
- Collaboration with various local partners to develop destination experiences or programs for properties in the SEE region (sport/active, culture, family, culinary and other experiences)
- Responsible for payments processing and contract signatures
YOUR PROFILE:
- Min. 2 years of professional experience in the field of event marketing
- Experience and marketing knowledge with focus on Croatia and Slovenia. Other countries are an advantage
- High understanding and passion for the tourism and hospitality industry
- Creative and innovative spirit
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Languages required: Croatian and very good English skills. German skills very preferable
- Hands-on mentality and can-do spirit
- Driving license and willingness to travel
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
