Position Purpose
The I&I Tender Lead Adriatic will be responsible for setting and implementing a best-in-class tender strategy for the Inflammation portfolio across the Adriatic region in a very close collaboration with Pfizer’s distributors and tender bodies.
In this job, he/she will be closely working with the local colleagues and cluster/global teams, interacting with other BUs representatives if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the I&I Tender business in Adriatic, focused on successfully develop and execute commercial strategies, aiming to maximizing the tender business and revenue
  • Create Pricing Strategies and tender priorities for the countries of responsibility
  • Lead tender Analytics for I&I. Continuously improve & develop tender analytics to provide markets and above market functions with value & visibility:
  • Build implementation plan for analytics by conceptualizing way of execution & operationally lead execution for markets.
  • Based on tender analytics support and enable markets to capture growth opportunities by leveraging available levers to increase competitiveness in tenders.
  • Enhance tenders value proposition by improving & developing offering according to needs, leading best-in-class execution & deliver on revenue expectations.
  • Support Sub-Cluster Lead in building strategic capabilities in local teams to unlock and optimize growth opportunities across I&I portfolio
  • Set up and facilitate a best practice networks and enable competitive intelligence sharing across markets
  • Ensure that all markets of responsibility have developed and implemented actionable strategies for shaping the tender environment
  • Represent Adriatic tender business and work in close cooperation with local and global colleagues as needed
  • Co-operation with H&V, supply and distributors to effectively manage the pricing of the assets and maximize revenue
  • Sets the necessary KPIs for countries and ensure the alignment of countries with cluster priorities and strategies with close monitoring

Qualifications Required

  • Seasoned leader with at least 10 years of pharmaceutical experience
  • Track record in successful tender negotiations
  • Experience in the I&I field preferred
  • Knowledgeable in dealing with distributors and tender bodies
  • Familiarity with tender legal framework in Adriatic region
  • Strategic thinking
  • Solid Business Acumen
  • Strong communication skills

Other Internal Information

  • Collaborate closely with H&V, finance and PGS for the best support to the countries
  • Work closely with I&I commercial managers
